Cute! So cute and sweet and sad! I love the balance and intersplicing of the war, Remus's job, and his relationship with Sirius. I can tell it must have been hard to do so precisely, but you accomplished it beautifully.
There are so many details here, layers and layers, that it'll probably take another read through at least to appreciate them all, but the overall effect is lovely in itself.
(Plus, as a journalism student, some of the parts at the paper were kind of hilarious -- you know, the parts when you weren't busy chipping away at my heart.)
